Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) is changing the way children learn and play. Korean company InsolM&T Inc. is revolutionizing the VR/AR space by developing various interactive content and experiences that provide education solutions with innovative technology. InsolM&T inc., a professional developer of hologram-based VR and AR solutions, has created an interactive virtual sports interactive platform, MODOU SPORTS.

Virtual sports that can be played with peers in physical space, real-time

MODOU SPORTS is an interactive platform that transforms any existing space for virtual activities indoors. It is developed with the 4th Industrial Revolution and STEAM-based education in mind. MODOU SPORTS’ research and development efforts take into account children’s creative movements and behaviors, providing a seamless and natural immersion experience. As a result, children’s minds and bodies grow stronger while they play immersed in the MODOU SPORTS platform.

InsolM&T Inc. team presenting the virtual sports platform at a conference.

Usually, when it comes to the digital game world, a general perception is of a lonely child playing games in front of a screen, without any physical stimulus or interaction with other children. MODOU SPORTS platform allows a child to play with its peers, interact, and enjoy the virtually entertaining platform. With MODOU SPORTS, children learn while playing, without the pressure of classroom study. With STEAM-based content designed into its curriculum, MODOU SPORTS takes care of physical fitness and the intellectual development of all participating children.

No space constraints & wider use for events, business activities

MODOU SPORTS records and analyses exercise data while children are playing. It captures participating children’s data on seven factors, including muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, quickness, etc. The captured data can be computed to assess a child’s health condition. Since MODOU SPORTS platform is a flexible system that can be installed in limited square footage, there is no need for institutions using the platform to change any existing interior design. A new interactive environment can be created by adding projectors, lighting, sound systems, and sensors. MODOU SPORTS system is capable of updating automatically with up-to-date content.

Korean company InsolM&T Inc.’s virtual sports platform installed at a hall.

Originally, MODOU SPORTS platform is designed for kids’ physical activities, but with the features like setup flexibility and mobility, the platform can be used for many events and venues.  MODOU SPORTS platform can enhance the experience at company events, business meetings, team building activities, exhibitions, and much more.
