Techsauce Global Summit 2024 Attracts 18,000 Attendees, Accentuating Thailand’s Status as SEA’s Tech Gateway

Techsauce Global Summit 2024, Southeast Asia’s premier technology event, recently concluded on a high note at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok. Held from August 7th to 9th, the event highlighted Thailand’s growing prominence as the region’s Tech Gateway, drawing over 18,000 visitors from 60 countries. A significant portion of these attendees were international participants, including investors, making up more than 30% of the crowd. The summit became a vital hub for fostering collaboration among startups, entrepreneurs, and technology professionals, resulting in over 1,500 business deals.

Techsauce Global Summit 2024, solidified Thailand’s position as the prime Tech Gateway of the region. This was achieved through cooperation from both domestic and international partners, who collectively showcased the world of cutting-edge technology under the theme ‘The World of Tomorrow with AI,’ highlighting key AI topics that will drive the future. Techsauce grandly concluded the event with the Techsauce Awards 2024 to individuals, companies, and startups in technology, business, and innovation industries who achieved outstanding accomplishments, created positive industry impacts, and significantly contributed to driving the Tech Ecosystem in Thailand.

The ultimate highlight of “The World of Tomorrow with AI” this year was undoubtedly the debut of Ameca, the world’s most advanced humanoid robot, marking its first appearance in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Ameca captivated attendees with its impressive ability to intelligently engage conversations up close. Additionally, Techsauce Global Summit created a platform to connect all technological trends by collaborating with more than 350 esteemed speakers from across the globe, who shared their insights and expertise across 11 stages. The event also featured workshops and Master Class activities, offering hands-on experiences from real experts.

The event concluded with the announcement of the Techsauce Awards 2024, aimed at supporting and promoting the Tech Ecosystem in Thailand. The awards honor and recognize the achievements of individuals, companies, and startups that have made a positive impact on society and seek to inspire the new generation interested in the technology industry. This year, there were 10 categories and a total of 29 awards:

1) The Startup Backbone Awards (total 5 prizes) goes to:

  • Krungsri Finnovate Co., Ltd.
  • Beacon Venture Capital Co., Ltd.
  • National Innovation Agency (NIA)
  • Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa)
  • True Digital Park Co., Ltd.

2) The Tech Woman of The Year Award (total 1 prize) goes to:

  • Patama Chantruck, Managing Director, Accenture Thailand

3) The Sauciest Influencer Awards (total 2 prizes) goes to:

  • Nakarin Wanakijpaibul, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Editor of The Standard
  • Thana Thienachariya, Owner of the platform Written for You

4) The Sauciest Regulator Award (total 1 prize) goes to:

  • Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA)

5) The Sauciest Leader Awards (total 4 prizes) goes to:

  • Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer, Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL.
  • Ruangroj Poonpol, Chairman of Kasikorn Business-Technology Group
  • Arthid Nanthawithaya, Chief Executive Officer, SCBX
  • Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Group Chief Executive Officer, WHA Corporation PCL.

6) The Sauciest Startup Awards (total 1 prize) goes to:

  • Touchapon Kraisingkorn, Group CTO and Head of AI Labs, Amity Solutions

7) The Sauciest Corporate Awards (total 2 prizes) goes to:

8) The Sauciest Investor Award (total 1 prize) goes to:

  • Pawoot Pongvitayapanu, EfraStructure

9) The Sauciest Founder Award (total 1 prize) goes to:

10) The Techsauce Innovation Awards (total 11 prizes) goes to:
