In the realm of oral care practices, Korean startup THOMASTONE Co., Ltd., is set to bring in its cutting-edge bio-product ‘Denti-chak’, a groundbreaking solution that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) technology to deliver personalized and effective oral care services.

THOMASTONE’s ‘Denti-chak’ offers a multifaceted approach to oral care, leveraging AI technology for enhanced diagnostics and treatment planning.By analyzing oral questionnaire responses, oral imaging data, and comprehensive medical histories, the product delivers super personalized services tailored to individual needs.

Innovative Features of ‘Denti-chak’

‘Denti-chak’ is a bio-product that identifies and stains dental plaque, changing color based on the severity of plaque accumulation. This innovative product, which has been approved by the Korea Food and Drug Administration following toxicity and clinical evaluations, is a professional innovation that reduces the cost by a hundredfold compared to existing products

‘Denti-chak’ utilizes a natural pigment-based dental plaque disclosing solution that is harmless to consume. The integration of AI technology simplifies dental plaque analysis, facilitating accurate diagnostics and treatment recommendations. ‘Denti-chak’ caters to premium dental services and health education, focusing on children, adolescents, and the pet healthcare market. It enables effective oral care at home, bridging gaps in oral health inequality by providing accessible solutions.

THOMASTONE’s business model encompasses diverse strategies including collaborating with family dental practitioners for essential assessments and oral health education initiatives, offering ongoing oral care programs post-treatment, including implant and scaling procedures and partnering on international projects to support low-income communities and advancing digital therapy devices.

THOMASTONE Co.,Ltd,(led by CEO Jae-Young Lee), has announced its participation in ‘the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, Switzerland’, from April 17th to 21st, 2024 to showcase its natural substance-based dental plaque checker, ‘Denti-chak.’ Jae-Young Lee (CEO of THOMASTONE) stated, “This exhibition will be an opportunity to introduce THOMASTONE’s main products to the world. In 2024, we plan to expand our business territory into Europe and the United States with a product lineup that integrates bio and tech products into the form of digital therapeutic devices.”
