South Korea has seen rapid growth in the pet goods and services market. Pet food, toys, products, taxis and hotels are what Korean pet lovers are looking for. If you are a pet parent, then you do worry about driving around with your pooches or using any public transport with them. It isn’t easy to find reliable public transport facilities for pets. The Korean pet market is expanding, and startups are bringing in reliable pet transport services. Korean startup Aladdin Mobility has introduced a unique real-time resolution for pet taxi service.

Taxis on real-time call offering various services

While there are existing taxi services catering to pets in Korea, there is a reservation system and waiting time. But Aladdin Pet Taxi works on a real-time basis, which means the taxi is always on the call for pet parents. Another interesting aspect of Aladdin Pet Taxi service is that the cabs are driven by pet owners or pet lovers and professionals who have completed animal transport education. So there would never be a hassle to travel with the pet as the driver would also be caring. Aladdin Pet Taxi service offers round-trips, long-distance, regular travel, with pets. The taxi services also help with pet alone travels and veterinary hospital visits.

The service is available via an app for both Android and iOs systems. The service was started in April 2020 in Anyang area in Seoul and is now providing service in all 25 districts in Seoul. The Aladdin Pet Taxi App now has over 6000 subscribers and 800 drivers registered on the app. The startup wants to expand its services to more areas and includes all aspects of pet care. Aladdin Pet Taxi plans to recruit more drivers and concentrate on SNS marketing to enhance business.
