Korean content discovery firm Dable to strengthen business in Japan with Geniee Inc. partnership

Dable, the content discovery platform from South Korea, recently signed a licensing agreement with Japan’s largest SSP network, Geniee, Inc., in a bid to widen its reach and boost its growth in Asia by expanding into the highly competitive Japanese market.

As part of the partnership, Dable will provide its recommendation solution to Geniee and offer technical consultation and support to the latter. This will allow Geniee’s publishers to take advantage of the No.1 recommendation solution in Korea to increase site traffic and advertising revenue. The startup first entered Japan in late 2017 but saw the need to have a strong ally in the market to spur growth.

With Geniee’s reach in Japan, this collaboration opens up great opportunities for Dable in the country. In turn, Geniee will be able to add this new advertising solution to their arsenal.

“We hope to maximize the strength of both companies to achieve a win-win situation in the Japanese market through this strategic partnership,”

shares Sewon Yoon, Dable’s Head of Market Development & Innovation.

The founders of Dable were the first individuals in Korea to design, develop, and operate big data-based product recommendation platforms. Based on its experience, Dable provides personalized solutions to content distributors and advertisers. Dable utilizes big data technology which collects and analyzes large quantities of log data and machine-learning technology which analyzes and learns the content preferred by consumers. Dable, widely recognized for its technology, has grown rapidly and enjoys an 80-percent market share in Korea. Dable has expanded into Asian market including Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan and Vietnam.
