FutureBioWorks

BM-Tube is made of biodegradable shape memory polymer and it is a medical instrument that connects cut blood vessels safely and quickly. It is easily inserted into cut blood vessels, and it is deformed by human body temperature and connects cut blood vessels to one. Over time, the severed blood vessels are one and the BM-Tube is slowly dissolving in the body and disappearing, This product maximizes patient convenience. The procedure time was shortened to 5 minutes compared to the conventional method which took more than 60 minutes, and it has a great advantage that it can be used both in artery and vein. BM-Tube is a new medical device made by combining Vanderbilt University’s biodegradable shape memory polymer technology, Wisconsin’s blood flow simulation technology, UAB school of medical Anti-thrombogenic technology and Future Bioworks manufacturing technology. BM-Tube can be applied to all organs that have tube shape in the human body as well as blood vessels. Currently, FutureBioWorks is expanding its products to include tear ducts and ureters. The BM-Tube Market is expected to grow from $20 Billion in 2017 to $32 Billion in 2021. In 2018 and 2019, we are currently conducing bio-compatibility assessment for materials and GMP construction.
