Korean medtech startup VUNO signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Visual Medica, one of the largest PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) companies in Latin America (LATAM). Through this agreement, VUNO plans to integrate and jointly promote four of the VUNO Med image diagnostic assistance AI solutions that obtained European CE certification, based on Visual Medica’s local network in South America.
The four VUNO Med® solutions included in the agreement are VUNO Med®-Chest X-RayTM, VUNO Med®–LungCT AITM, VUNO Med®-DeepBrain® and VUNO Med®-BoneAgeTM. Through their first collaboration, the two companies will present a demo of the integrated solution to introduce VUNO’s solutions at the Colombian Conference of Radiology (hereinafter CCR 2022), which will be held for three days from May 12 – 14 in Cartagena, Colombia. In addition, the Association of Colombian Radiology invited VUNO radiology specialist to invite Dr. Eun Kyoung Hong to present during the CCR Academic Program to participate in an AI Academic Panel to discuss AI and how radiologists can incorporate AI / medical technology can in clinical workflows.
