Lee Won-jun and Park Kyu-tae, co-founders of Avalve, a startup with the AI Smart Farm Solution made the list of Forbes 30 under 30 Asia. On May 18, Forbes, an American business magazine, released a list of the 30 most influential leaders under the age of 30 on its official homepage.
Since 2011, the magazine has published promising leaders aged under 30 in ten different fields, including art, marketing, finance, social impact, and health care, from regions in Europe, North America, and Africa.
Lee Won-jun and Park Kyu-tae were selected in the field of Industry, Manufacturing & Energy, and they are the only Koreans nominated in that category.
Since its foundation back in 2019, the company has made a lot of achievements. Particularly noteworthy was the successful opening and operation of the large-scale smart farm complex in Vietnam in May, which incorporated Avalve’s smart farm solution. This milestone helped the company to promote the excellence of smart farm technologies in Korea.
Avalve’s AI Smart Farm Solution employs AI technologies, enabling the effortless production of high-value crops in any location. As the importance of food security greatly increases due to unforeseen climate events and environmental pollution, Avalve’s technology has garnered significant attention both domestically and internationally.
Avalve is one of the other startups located in the 2nd Pangyo Techno Valley in Gyeonggi-do, and it was also chosen as “Innovative Enterprise National Representatives 1000” in the information and communication sector by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in 2022.
