South Korean startup Omnious, a fashion AI solution company, announced on March 31st that it would provide OMNIOUS STUDIO for free to support the fashion industry stagnated by the novel coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). OMNIOUS STUDIO is a consumer trend analysis software equipped with deep learning Artificial Intelligence.

AI Fashion Trend analysis for free

OMNIOUS STUDIO, equipped with Omnious AI image recognition technology, is a new beta service launched earlier this year. It provides current online customer and SNS trend insights aggregated from over 30,000 fashion influencer accounts and 3,000 fashion brands every week. Also, 200 image tagging services will be provided per an account for extracting search keywords. Omnious plans to provide this service free of charge till the end of June, signups for the free service began March 30th.

Omnious expects its service to help business practitioners and operators in the field. As it has become quite challenging to conduct market research to identify consumer demands and trends offline given the social distancing measures enacted due to COVID-19.

Helping the Fashion Industry

Jae-young Jun (CEO of Omnious) said, “The fashion industry is in a dire state as consumer sentiment and confidence has dwindled with COVID-19, and the demand for offline store visits has plummeted drastically. To act as a small beacon of hope for the fashion industry, we decided to open one of our services for free.”

To apply, click ‘Subscribe for free’ on Omnious’ official website and fill in the application information. A service pass will instantly be issued through the email information you entered. The service is open to all retailers, e-commerce companies, and private small business operators in the fashion industry.
Omnious is a fashion AI startup, founded jointly by KAIST Ph.D. graduates in deep learning established in 2015. With the collaboration of world-leading AI researchers, software engineers, and in-house fashion experts, Omnious has created and developed holistic AI solutions to accelerate digital transformation in the fashion industry.

The startup offers three products and services that enable customer-orientated product planning and trend analysis. OMNIOUS TAGGER‘ – AI automatic tagging solution ‘OMNIOUS LENS’ – AI image search and recommendation solution ‘OMNIOUS STUDIO’ – AI trend analysis solution. To date, Omnious has accumulated $ 6 million in gross investment attraction and has recently established a US subsidiary in March 2020.
