ÉKLEER(CEO: Jung Yoonji(Matthew Y)), specializing in the development and research of monitors, launched its portable monitor, MOVVI, that allows smartphone or laptop users to enjoy large screens anywhere, anytime, and the company aims to expand its business.
ÉKLEER, whose slogan is ‘Smartphone as a Personal Computer and a TV,’ is developing a portable monitor for people working outside of homes or offices or subscribing to OTT services such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Watcha, Coupang Play, etc.
Its portable monitor provides a wired mirroring service, compatible with Android and iPhones. Since it is easy to carry around, people can use a 16.1-inch screen regardless of where they are. Without a need to use a battery, it only requires a USB C cable to connect in order to use dual monitors, and a cradle allows a monitor to stand vertically, increasing design convenience.
The 16.1 screen, which is larger than the 15.6 screen, is equipped with an IPS panel, providing full HD resolution, with a brightness of 300cd/m², and two USB-C and HDMI ports are provided. In case of using it overseas, the screen comes with a travel pouch that can carry three international plug adaptors and a 65W PD charger that can charge a laptop with USB-C charging capability.
ÉKLEER is recognized for its technical capabilities both domestically and internationally. After releasing domestic products, it achieved 5,446% of the target funding in the first Wadiz crowdfunding campaign. Following this success, it also signed a contract to supply gifts for LG U+’s home internet subscribers. Internationally, it is preparing for full-scale sales in the European market by signing a contract with Wortmann AG, a B2B specialized sales company in Germany. In January 2024, ÉKLEER plans to participate in the world’s largest technology exhibition, ‘CES2024,’ to showcase new products.
ÉKLEER’s CEO, Jung Yoonji, stated, “Our portable monitors provide convenience for enjoying games or videos and handling work even while on the move, surpassing constraints in spaces like homes or offices.” He also mentioned, “In the upcoming year, we will actively increase our market share as a specialized portable monitor company in both domestic and global markets.
