Entertech startup VWX Labs, known for its innovative artist career platform ‘Talented‘, has successfully attracted additional seed investment from 1Billion Partners. The exact amount of the investment remains undisclosed.
VWX focuses on providing a comprehensive career platform service for talented artists, including actors, models, and dancers. The standout feature of the platform is the ability to transform traditional text-based artist profiles into media-based profiles, enabling artists to receive casting offers directly based on their unique talents. 1Billion Partners, established in 2021, is focussed on supporting startups’ global expansion and helps them create value through various activities
Hong Jae-il, the CEO of VWX, expressed excitement about the new investment, stating, “We are actively developing a matching service that caters to both artists and casting managers, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of our platform as a casting hub in the future.”
Currently, VWX operates as a resident company in the Pangyo Startup Zone, a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The Pangyo Startup Zone is jointly operated by the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED) and the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, providing an ideal environment for startups to grow and flourish.
With the recent investment infusion from 1Billion Partners, VWX is poised to expand its operations and further develop Talented by refining its matching service and ensuring seamless connections between artists and casting managers.
