Korean health tech startup Imagoworks, specializing in artificial intelligence-based digital dental solutions, has attracted 10 billion won ($7 million) in Series B investment. Imagoworks has an investment of 3.7 billion ($2.6 million) won in funding in 2020 and 2021. The accumulated investment attraction amount of the company is 13.7 billion won ($9.6 million).
Founded in November 2019, Imagoworks is an artificial intelligence-based digital dental solution specialist. Global dentists, dental technicians and related workers can utilize the AI solution optimized for digital dentistry in the SaaS (Software as a Service) method. The combination of world-class AI technology, CAD, and cloud technology has automated the manual processes required in the dental treatment process. In this round, Intervest, Company K Partners, KB Investment, BNH Investment, and Devsisters Ventures participated as follow-up investors, and LB Investment participated as a new investor.
Based on this investment, Imagoworks plans to increase its share in the global dental market by upgrading products and expanding services. Starting with the update of 3Dme Studio, an automatic dental alignment solution that has recorded more than 50,000 global cases since its launch in September 2021. The startup also has 3Dme Crown, an automatic design solution for dental crown prostheses, introduced in June 2022.
The company aims to develop an integrated digital dental solution by interworking with the dental hardware equipment. Imagoworks has already linked 3Dme Studio and 3Dme Crown to Medit Link, a digital dental platform, through collaboration with Medit. In addition, the company plans to establish new subsidiaries in the United States and Asia, starting with the Thai subsidiary currently operating.

In addition to developing innovative products and providing services for real users, our web-based AI software will link with various dental digital devices to establish an integrated digital dental workflow, helping patients, doctors, and people in related industries.”
