Seoul’s bustling Gangnam-gu district will be abuzz with innovation as Korea Startup Forum(KSF), gears up to host COMEUP 2024 at COEX. With preparations officially underway, KSF convened the COMEUP 2024 Advisory Committee on May 8th to chart the course for this year’s event.
Building on the success of COMEUP 2023, the upcoming festival aims to solidify its status as a premier global startup gathering. The event will be held this year at COEX in Gangnam area, where majority of startup ecosystem players are located to facilitate greater participation.
The target audience, previously focused on startups and ecosystem stakeholders, will now expand to pre-entrepreneurs and the general public. The event will also diversify its programs and attempt various new formats such as a showcase promising startups can unveil their new technologies, job-matching sessions for the youth, all-day meet-ups to match startups with their target clients, etc.

Youth Engagement: Introducing a dedicated youth division, ComeUp 2024 promises to amplify the voices of young entrepreneurs, fostering innovation and empowering the next generation of startup leaders.
This year COMEUP will also enhance its role as a platform that connects the global ecosystems. First of all, the online biz-matching program will be upgraded to provide more networking and meetup opportunities for global participants. Furthermore, various other programs such as “Challenge! K-Startup 2024”, “K-Startup Grand Challenge”, and “KOICA Innovation Day” will take place in conjunction with COMEUP 2024 so that the can attract new players, including global corporations and SMEs.
The COMEUP 2024 Advisory Committee consists of 53 experts, including Sang-woo Han, chairman of KSF, as well as entrepreneurs, global venture capitalists, accelerators, and representatives from large corporations.
