Korean fintech company Quantit announced it has signed a contract to develop and implement an AI analysis model for ‘Integrated Platform for Intelligent Pension Welfare’ project of the National Pension Service(NPS). The ‘Integrated Platform for Intelligent Pension Welfare’ project aims to upgrade the pension system of NPS, which is one of the world’s top three global pension funds with assets of 1 trillion won.

Quantit is planning to accelerate the development of AI analysis models using machine learning and quantitative technologies based on structured and unstructured data.

The company will analyze stock market monitoring and portfolio risk management, provide optimal sector allocation and portfolio construction models for global fixed income and analyze the underlying factors and backgrounds of interest rate fluctuations to implement an intelligent financial model for the most appropriate management strategy.

Dr. Keun Ho Hwang, head of the Financial Model Division in Quantit, said, “The project is essential as financial models backed by Quantit’s AI technology will be distributed to a leading global pension fund. Furthermore, this project is meaningful as it will enhance the fund’s management capabilities by establishing a global standard financial model through Quantit’s proven data analysis technology and financial model research capabilities.

With the mission to “Lower any financial barriers by utilizing technology in order to provide access to our services for everyone,” Quantit works closely with its parent company “VAIV Company (KOSDAQ Listed),” which is one of the leading AI companies in Korea.

Meanwhile, the EMP (ETF Managed Portfolio) strategy is expanding the scope of solutions to the pension market. On December 2022, Quantit launched robo-advisory service app ‘Olly.’

Korean fintech startup Quantit was established in 2019 and provides robo-advisory services and solutions based on AI and big data with headquarters in Seoul, Korea. Quantit is a financial technology

innovator in Korea with a stellar track record by providing solutions for companies in various financial industries such as KB Financial Group, Shinhan Bank and Samsung Asset Management.
