Korean startups’ innovation and technologies have been lauded by the global community. Korean companies have always outshined at the world’s biggest & influential tech event – the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), held annually in the USA.

Ahead of the CES 2022, which will be held from January 5 to 8, the organization announced the CES 2022 Innovation Awards Honorees. It is an annual competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products across 27 product categories. This year CES 2022 Innovation Awards program received a record-high number of over 1800 submissions. Korean companies have swept the CES Innovation Awards Honourees list. While Korean tech giants Samsung Electronics & LG Electronics have won a record number of awards, Korean startups have also garnered attention.

The event organized by Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® was held fully digital in 2021 owing to pandemic restrictions. In 2022 it will be held in Las Vegas, and the selected Korean startups will showcase their innovative technology and products to the world. The CES 2022 Innovation Award honorees are chosen by an independent panel of industry experts, judges, designers, engineers, and members of media, based on innovation, engineering and functionality, aesthetic and design. Honourees get to showcase their product in the Innovation Awards Showcase at CES, located at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. The ‘Best of Innovation’ is announced during the event.

Check out some Korean startups taking their innovation to the CES 2022 and chosen as Innovation Award Honorees.
