Korean AI data solution company AIMMO, led by CEO Oh Seung-taek, has established a subsidiary in Germany, marking its entry into the European market. With the establishment of this subsidiary, AIMMO plans to use it as a base for entering the European market, increasing brand awareness, and expanding its global business.
In conjunction with the establishment of the subsidiary, Park Wang-yong, Managing Director, with over 20 years of experience in software development and commercialization, strategic partnership management, communication, and consulting at companies such as VIDAA, Hisense Group, and Obigo, has been appointed.
Park Wang-yong, Managing Director, stated, “As a region where the automotive industry ecosystem has developed, we will not only secure customers for our autonomous driving-specialized data solution, AD-DaaS (Autonomous Driving-Data as a Service), but also expand sales and promote our comprehensive data solutions throughout the entire vehicle life cycle.” He added, “With the establishment of the subsidiary, we will be able to respond quickly to the demands of local European customers.”
AIMMO provides AI-based customized data solutions, supporting the development and enhancement of artificial intelligence models in various industries, including autonomous driving, smart cities, and gaming. AIMMO’s autonomous driving-specialized solution, ‘AD-DaaS,’ has already demonstrated its competitiveness by securing global automotive parts companies such as Bosch, Continental, and Magna International, as well as OEM manufacturers as customers.
AIMMO is headquartered in Pangyo Techno Valley, Gyeonggi Province, and plans to accelerate its global market expansion with the establishment of the German subsidiary, following the establishment of its U.S. subsidiary in July 2023.
