The Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH Singapore 2025) returns from October 29 to 31 at Marina Bay Sands, marking both its 10th edition and coinciding with Singapore’s 60th year of independence.
Organized by Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) and supported by the National Research Foundation (NRF) under the Prime Minister’s Office, the event reaffirms Singapore’s position as Asia’s flagship innovation hub — and a global bridge for deep tech, AI, and quantum breakthroughs.
With the theme “Powering Innovation, Creating Our Future,” SWITCH 2025 brings together founders, investors, corporates, and policymakers from more than 100 markets. Building on SWITCH 2024’s record 20,000 attendees, the festival continues to push the boundaries of technology and entrepreneurship across health and biomedical sciences, smart manufacturing, sustainability, and digital transformation.
SWITCH: Building Singapore’s Innovation Legacy
SWITCH was established to unify research, entrepreneurship, and investment under one national innovation agenda. It reflects Singapore’s long-term vision through Enterprise Singapore — the government agency that drives startup internationalization, market access, and deep-tech growth — and the NRF, which funds research and commercialization initiatives.
Together, they anchor SWITCH within Singapore’s broader Research, Innovation, and Enterprise (RIE) 2025 strategy as a key platform for translating research into market-ready innovation.
Through programs such as Startup SG and the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA), Enterprise Singapore has positioned the nation as a launchpad for startups entering Asia and beyond. NRF complements this by funding frontier technologies and building a robust science-to-market pipeline — from quantum computing and AI research to sustainable manufacturing.
In his opening address on October 29, Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong will underscore Singapore’s vision to transform research excellence into commercial impact, strengthening the nation’s deep-tech ecosystem and cross-border innovation networks.
A Decade of Progress — The Global Rise of SWITCH Singapore
Since its inception in 2016, SWITCH has evolved from a regional conference into one of Asia’s most influential innovation gatherings. It now stands at the intersection of technology, policy, and global entrepreneurship, attracting over 400 exhibitors and 350 thought leaders each year.
Previously, the 2024 edition showcased how SWITCH drives collaboration between research institutions, corporates, and startups — featuring tracks in AI for healthcare, green energy, smart cities, and quantum technology.

This year’s 10th edition expands that foundation, integrating deep-tech expertise with real-world applications and global market access initiatives.
SWITCH Singapore 2025 Main Stage — Where Vision Meets Reality
At the heart of SWITCH Singapore 2025, the Main Stage sets the pulse of Asia’s innovation calendar — a space where frontier ideas meet real-world impact and the next wave of global leadership takes shape.
Opening the stage, Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong will set the tone for Singapore’s next innovation decade, outlining how deep tech and digital transformation are reshaping economies and global collaboration.
The momentum continues with an extraordinary lineup of global pioneers:
- Tao Zhang, Co-Founder of Manus AI, will explore “The Frontier of Agentic AI” — how self-directed AI systems are redefining autonomy, decision-making, and industry intelligence.
- Tan Min-Liang, CEO of Razer, brings the gamer’s edge to the stage, revealing how AI is revolutionizing gaming ecosystems, user experience, and the creative economy.
- Chris Yeh, Co-Author of “Blitzscaling,” closes the circle with a forward-looking keynote on building hypergrowth ventures in an AI-driven world.

The three-day agenda then features forward-looking panels on Embodied AI, quantum computing, and AI-driven materials discovery.
Discussions such as “Accelerating Business Transformation with Smarter AI” and “Fuelling the Energy Transition” bring together experts from HSBC, Mitsui & Co., Antler, and East Ventures, while Singapore founders like Patsnap CEO Jeffrey Tiong spotlight the city-state’s thriving startup landscape.
These sessions offer insight into how frontier technologies are reshaping industries from manufacturing and logistics to energy and healthcare.
SLINGSHOT 2025 — The Global Deep Tech Launchpad
A highlight of SWITCH 2025 is SLINGSHOT, Singapore’s premier global startup pitching competition. Now in its 9th edition, SLINGSHOT 2025 invites 6,800 startups from more than 150 markets to compete for SGD 2 million in prizes and global recognition.
The competition spans four domains — Transformative Digital Technologies, Health & Biomedical, Environment, Energy and Green Technologies, and Manufacturing, Trade and Connectivity. The Top 60 Global Startups will pitch their solutions live, culminating in the Grand Finals and Award Ceremony on October 31.
Startups like DolbomDream Co., Ltd. from Korea, known for its non-contact AI biometric monitoring for seniors, exemplify how SWITCH is becoming a launchpad for global expansion.
With deep participation from Korean founders, investors, and the K-Startup Center in Singapore, SLINGSHOT continues to strengthen Korea–Singapore startup collaboration and open ASEAN market pathways.

SWITCH Beyond — Deep Tech Masterclasses and Research Frontiers
SWITCH Beyond expands the event’s thought leadership by diving deep into domain-specific innovation through four specialized tracks — Health & Biomedical Sciences, Quantum Tech, AI & Robotics, and AI for Materials.
- Quantum Tech Track: Highlights Singapore’s full-stack quantum computing strategy, including Quantinuum’s Master Research Collaboration Agreement (MRCA) and discussions on scalable algorithms, hardware, and investment outlook.
- Health & Biomedical Track: Fireside chats with Prof. Kenneth Mak and masterclasses on precision medicine, digital diagnostics, and decentralized healthcare.
- AI & Robotics Track: Explores the future of humanoid robots, embodied AI, and robotics interoperability, alongside panels on Women in Robotics and global ROS (Robot Operating System) collaboration.
- AI for Materials Track: Showcases startups like Radical AI and Polymerize, which are accelerating R&D cycles in materials discovery using generative AI.
SWITCH Beyond reflects how Singapore is transitioning from an innovation hub to a deep-tech powerhouse, translating cutting-edge research into scalable industry solutions.
SWITCH Global — Expanding Borders, Connecting Ecosystems
Beyond the exhibition halls, SWITCH Global functions as an international platform for cross-border innovation.
The 2025 edition features market access sessions and panels spotlighting innovation ecosystems worldwide — from Flanders’ bioconvergence expertise and Brazil’s tech expansion to Austria’s gateway to Europe and Canada–Asia research partnerships.
A key highlight is the session “Beyond Borders – Startups Scaling In & Out of Korea.” Organized under SWITCH Global in collaboration with the Korea Startup Center (KSC) Singapore and led by Hong-gu Yoon, Director of the K-Startup Center Singapore, this panel brings together government leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs to discuss how Korean startups are leveraging Singapore as a global base.
The session will also share case studies on fundraising, cross-border partnerships, and policy frameworks that enable reciprocal collaboration between both nations.

The Central Role of Enterprise Singapore
Enterprise Singapore’s central role in SWITCH demonstrates how government-backed coordination can power private innovation. Its initiatives have supported over 600 startups in expanding overseas, while the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) now connects Singapore with innovation nodes in Seoul, Tokyo, Berlin, and Dubai.
By merging R&D commercialization, funding access, and global partnerships, EnterpriseSG is not only shaping Singapore’s innovation identity but also enabling foreign startups — including Korean founders — to scale through Singapore’s ecosystem.
As Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat noted at SWITCH 2024,
“Deep tech is no longer a frontier of the future; it is the foundation of Singapore’s next economic chapter.”
SWITCH Singapore 2025: Shaping the Next Decade of Innovation
As SWITCH celebrates a decade of innovation, it highlights Singapore’s growing stature as a global hub where AI, quantum, and sustainability-driven technologies converge. Korean startups and investors view Singapore as a strategic gateway to scale their ventures through Asia’s most connected innovation ecosystem.
By bringing together visionaries across science, industry, and policy, SWITCH Singapore 2025 reflects the spirit of collaboration and progress shaping the region’s next chapter. The coming decade belongs to those who innovate across borders — and SWITCH remains the place where those journeys begin.
