Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator and startup investor Y&Archer held an IR event called “Pan-Pan Day,” on September 20 at the Pangyo Techno Valley Startup Campus in Gyeonggi-do. Pan-Pan Day is a part of Gyeonggi-do’s programs to support the overseas expansion of competent startup companies. At this event, startup companies, investors, and officials in Pangyo Techno Valley, Gyeonggi-do, all gathered in one place for networking.
At this event, investors and accelerators, GBSA officials, and startup companies’ executives gathered to listen to IR presentations, have one-on-one consultation sessions with investors, and have time for scale-up seminars and networking.
OneCup (CEO: Choi So-jung, one-stop real estate trading service ‘OneCup PRO’), Pitch Interactive (Director: Jang Yong-hyuk, global sports entertainment platform ‘PIE’), World Home Doctor (CEO: Kim Ji-yeon, new sleep care brand ‘Doctor Friend’), Tag & Roll (CEO: Kim Yu-sik Kim, open multi-cam broadcasting solution ‘RollTV’), and AI-nomis (Senior Researcher: Kim Jun-hyung, code-less AI service) participated in the IR presentation and introduced their respective companies.
The judges included Alex Uttendorper from the Founder Institute, Fedor Sokolov from Relevant, and Riso Dongok Ahn from The Garrison, and they provided useful advice to the participating companies.
Then, at the Scale-up Seminar, the startups that are considering entering the European market had the chance to listen to Sanyu Karani, CEO of a European Union-based fund operator, on the topic of ‘Startups’ Global Advancement from the Perspective of a Global Accelerator.’
Cho Min-soo, CEO of Pitch Interactive, said, “I gained valuable insights from investors at the Pan-Pan Day event. I was particularly impressed by the advice that I should focus on entering the market first and finding good opportunities rather than improving the completeness of the brand when it comes to the global advancement.”
Choi So-jung, CEO of One Cup, said, “As an STO (Security Token Offering) company, we will expand our investment into the global market. And thanks to this program, we were able to learn how to develop funding and networks to enter the European and American markets.”
Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator supports startup companies in the strategic industries of the 4th Industrial Revolution era with its own platforms and programs. GBSA has created a technological innovation space in the Startup Campus building in Pangyo Techno Valley, and provides programs for each business stage of the startup companies that have excellent ideas and technologies.
