The final showcase for the TIPS startup global project virtual accelerating program will be held on February 16 and 17 , 2022. The showcase, which includes pitches from enterprising Korean startups, will be held virtually with offline hosting at Incheon. The 4th TIPS startup global project is an accelerator program to support Korean startups to enter overseas markets.

Organized by Korea Business Angels Association for TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup) selected startups, the program aims to prepare domestic startups for overseas expansion through mentoring and networking opportunities. The TIPS startup global project was announced in December 2021, and after a rigorous application process, ten Korean startups were selected for the program based on their technological innovations. The chosen startups are being provided one-on-one mentoring sessions with international investors, mentors and leading people in the global startup ecosystem from January 20 to February 10. 

The startups will also be helped to prepare for the final IR presentation, held from February 16 to 17. The Korean startup founders and their team will be mentored to understand their target market and culture, upgrade basic business skills (communication, contract, etc.) for overseas expansion, and work on business communication, especially in English. The startups will also get one-on-one offline mentoring from Korean VCs. On February 16 and 17, the selected Korean startups will showcase their final presentations for international investors and VCs. 

The Ten Korean Startups that will be participating in the final showcase: 

Nuvi labs: The startup implements an AI technology that analyzes food’s types, amounts, and nutrients.

Aniai: It has introduced an Intelligent Robotic Kitchen. It automates the entire hamburger production process with AI and robotics for restaurants. AI is used for QC and fault predictions to minimize error and downtime. 

Zenerate: The startup provides building design AI Solutions for real estate development. By generating thousands of options in real-time, Zenerate shows the most profitable one in feasibility study phases.  

Bebridge Inc.: The company has introduced – Slid, a video note-taking tool that helps learners easily take notes from online platforms like YouTube, Coursera, or, Zoom

Soynet: The company has a general-purpose S/W accelerator designed to maximize GPU utilization based on acceleration using GPU.  

Teuida: The startup operates an interactive conversations app, which helps users learn Korean by having real-life situational conversations.

Petnow: It has introduced a revolutionary identification solution for dogs, using nose print images. Petnow also provides the lost & found function for local communities and shelters.

Interior Co., Ltd.: It runs a platform that connects customers and designers who want home styling, checks their space in 3D through non-face-to-face surveys and services, and helps them purchase furniture.

Robotry:  The startup’s platform ‘Parob’ is an Online to Offline platform where users can customize their robots. The main customers are 8 to 12 years old children. Users can design RC cars, drones, and robots by drag and drop.  

Beyond Honeycomb: It is a food-tech startup developing an AI-driven kitchen robot solution. The AI chef analyzes and reproduces the texture and taste of the chef’s original dishes, at a molecular level.
