Metaverse is becoming the most happening space to be in nowadays. To explore the benefits of the unconventional spaces, KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) is set to organize its Korean Innovation Fair 2022 extension to Dubai with some enterprising Korean startups on January 17th. The event that will highlight the topic of the ‘Korean Startups in Metaverse 2022’ will be hosted on Gather as part of the innovation fair. KOTRA hopes to promote business opportunities and interactions without physical limitations through the unique event.
The ‘Korea Innovation Fair 2022’ extension will be featuring seven Korean startups offering innovative solutions in areas such as AI, IoT, Drone, Healthcare and more. The metaverse event is part of the Korea Innovation Tech Fair to be held in Dubai from 16th to 18th January. Around 100 Korean companies, 200 overseas buyers related to Mobility, Sustainability, Opportunity with innovative technologies in the industrial field, etc., will be participating in the Dubai event.
The virtual space event will have two sessions:
▷ 1. Pitching Session (7 Participating Startups): 17 Jan 2022 (Mon), 6pm – 7pm (SGT)
▷ 2. Free-and-Easy Discussion/Q&A/Meetings: 17 Jan 2022 (Mon), 7pm – 9pm (SGT)

The seven startups that are participating in the Korean Startups in Metaverse 2022 are:
Medical Innovation Developer CP., LTD.: A startup company established in 2018 that manufactures and sells AI-based automatic video-reading medical devices.
SAFE WARE: It is a safety-tech company that develops and produces a variety of wearable airbag products, ranging from the wearable airbag for professionals over wearable airbags for leisure and sports activities, such as motorcycling and horse-back riding, to airbag systems for your family, such as hip-protection airbag belts for the elderly, and anti-suffocation airbag systems for infants.
Dolbomdream : Dolbomdream established in March 2020 has developed an air injection vest and jacket to support the treatment and daily life of the developmentally disabled.
PARITY: PARITY Cryo Technologies Co. Ltdprovides the necessary technology and stability for the commercialization of liquid hydrogen.
Klleon: This tech culture startup has a technology named ‘Deep Human’ that can convert or generate a face and voice of a person in a video close to real-time with a single face image and 30 seconds of voice data.
JJ&COMPANIES: The startup develops highly efficient integrated aquaculture systems, including machine learning, power control, control, monitoring, communication, etc.
AimbeLAB: Aimbelab inc. provides a total livestock feed monitering, delivery, management solution based on AI IOT feed monitoring technology ‘Feed Manager’ and a feed monitoring/trading application platform ‘Myfeed’
