Korean startup Splab, which operates the scheduling automation solution SendTime, has attracted seed investment from Spark Labs, 500 Global, CJ Investment, and Bespin Global.
SendTime is a B2B SaaS solution that innovatively shortens the time for individual or team meetings and reduces communication costs and human resources by automating all scheduling stages. It can reduce the team operation costs by 80% of the scheduled coordination time of users.
The main features are meeting time priority setting and suggestion function, user schedule real-time update function, intuitive interface that allows multiple schedules to be viewed on one screen, and automatic linkage with Google calendar.
With this seed investment, Splab plans to add functions for global users, such as language and time zone support, overseas payment, etc., within the first half of the year and to advance functions such as renewal and customization. In addition, it plans to lay the groundwork for entering the global market by hiring talented people in various positions, such as developers, PMs, and designers.
Yujin Kim, CEO of SparkLabs, said, “Work types are becoming more diverse around the world, and with the rapid growth of the gig economy market, the value of time and flexibility in work management are becoming more important to workers in Asia as well as in the US and Europe. We decided to invest because we judged that we had sufficient capabilities to create global services with the Splab team’s quick execution and excellent IT skills.”
“We are one step closer to Splab’s vision of connecting people with technology,” said Minseung Seon, CEO of Splab. “We will focus on introducing efficient and differentiated B2B SaaS products in the rapidly changing global market.”
Splab was established in 2022, and its primary users are sales, operations and personnel management jobs with frequent meetings with outsiders and companies and institutions that require multi-person scheduling. In recognition of its business and growth potential, it was selected as the 20th team of SparkLabs, a global accelerator, in 2023. Since its launch, about 100 customers have been using Splab.
