Oysterable, Korean startup that develops smart solutions for recycling has unveiled its AIoT smart resource circulation solution, Lalaloop, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023) in Barcelona, Spain, running from February 27 until March 2.
Lalaloop is a revolutionary self-serve, resource-circulating Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) and infrastructure that tackles the growing issue of single-use plastics and waste. It creates a closed-loop cycle of recyclables and reusables and incorporates the Lalaloop AIoT RVM, LalaloopID, and a connected reward application. This automated system collects and manages resources and carbon incentives anytime and anywhere without human assistance, making recycling and reuse easier and more convenient for citizens.
Oysterable has introduced the LalaloopID at MWC 2023, an exclusive identification code embedded in recyclables and reusables. This innovative technology tracks the entire life cycle of resources, including manufacturing, distribution, and disposal of raw materials, while also monitoring the amount of carbon emissions and waste reduction at each stage. The data generated can be used to trade carbon credits by individuals and companies. The LalaloopID can be applied in various forms, such as QR, Barcode, RFID, Digital watermark, etc.
Oysterable has also launched the Lalaloop Cup with LalaloopID at MWC 2023, following the successful introduction of the Lalaloop AIoT Reusable Cup Solution at CES 2022. The company aims to provide infrastructure for building smart cities at the enterprise, city, and regional levels and has already received interest from major buyers and investors in the US, Europe, and Asia before the event.
CEO Tae-Goan Bae expressed hope that the Lalaloop AIoT smart resource circulation solution will encourage citizens to recycle and reuse in a more enjoyable and convenient way. Oysterable aims to continue contributing to global carbon neutrality with innovative and convenient technologies, as a leading AIoT resource circulation company.
Oysterable is participating in the Korea Pavilion at MWC2023, co-organized by KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) and KICTA (Korea Information and Communication Technology Industry Association).
