Korean travel & hospitality company MyRealTrip, which operates a travel super app, is launching an overseas accommodation reservation service.
Until now, MyRealTrip’s overseas accommodation service has been a channeling service through a partnership with Booking.com. Now with its system design, it will provide services from search to reservation and payment for 600,000 accommodations worldwide.
With the MyRealTrip app, travelers can receive recommendations for all products necessary for overseas travel, from flights, accommodations, and tours to rental cars, and make one-stop reservations. MyRealTrip will offer all members a discount of up to 20% on popular accommodations worldwide. Also, to commemorate the launch of the overseas accommodation reservation service, a discount coupon of up to 100,000 won is presented for a month in January and promotion with an additional 5% discount upon payment.
MyRealTrip recruited Cho Hyun-ah, head of the lodging business from global IT companies such as Yahoo, Google, and Twitter, in November of last year to strengthen accommodation services. “We plan to focus on continuous service improvement so that travelers preparing for a ‘real trip’ can easily find the best accommodation that suits their taste,”
Cho Hyun-ah, Head of the Accommodation Business Division, said. “As the demand for the overseas travel has soared since the pandemic, the transaction amount of overseas travel products, which was the main business of MyRealTrip, is already growing rapidly beyond the pre-pandemic level. We will do our best to provide the best customer satisfaction for lodging services that are directly related to product purchases,” he added.
MyRealTrip is currently providing a one-stop service for all travel-related services, including air tickets, lodging, rental cars, tours, activities, and admission tickets.
