The global electronics industry is dependable on ceramics. Ceramic-based components are indispensable for making smartphones, computers, televisions, automotive electronics, medical devices, etc. Korean startup Y.TECH deals with every ceramic electronic part, specializing in LTCC foundry service, manufacturing components for 5G repeater, mm-wave band antenna and module.
Y-TECH’s technology is based on over15 years of R&D on LTCC materials techniques in the ceramic components market. The company’s advantage is its LTCC based advanced manufacturing technology and systematic network. The startup’s entire process is based on in-house fabrication facilities and proprietary material synthesis intellectual properties (Royalty-free).
LTCC (Low-Temperature Co-fired Ceramics) technology makes it possible to manufacture dielectric communication parts and multi-layer circuit boards by three-dimensionally stacking dielectric ceramics. The stacks can be fired together with Ag and Pt electrodes with excellent electrical conductivity and simultaneously sintered at a temperature of less than 900℃. Also, at the same time, it produces Pb-free, Cd -Free, RoHS compliant, environmentally friendly and excellent durability material. It is a material technology very suitable for the plating process.
Y-TECH provides customers with a design guide based on the manufacturing process by LTCC. The company wants to expand its service to the US market through B2B connections and has the vision to serve the 5G/6G telecommunication upgrades.
