Startup Willim Inc., the maker of 3linediary app has been chosen as the winner of the South Korea National competition of Entrepreneurship World Cup 2020. 3LineDairy is a diary, journal app that enables users to capture their day with three lines of text and one picture.
South Korea’s leading startup media company beSUCCESS Media Group has partnered with the Misk Global Forum, Global Entrepreneurship Network and The Global Education & Leadership Foundation, to host the South Korea national finals of EWC 2020. EWC offers startups a chance to pitch on a global stage for a share of US$1 million in cash prizes plus additional investment opportunities and another US$75 million in in-kind support.
Willim will join the EWC Global finals and wins in-kind services and opportunities valued at $700,000. The global finals will be held at the Misk Global Forum, scheduled for October 2020 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The first runner up is AIET and the second runner up is Fynd. AIET develops devices, software, and services using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to offer smart security solutions. Fynd is an invite-only, professional networking platform for bilingual professionals to connect with companies.
The runners up of the South Korea National Final will receive $100,000 worth of in-kind services and opportunities, as well as entry into the EWC Global Pool, which is a precursor to the Global Finals.
The EWC online platform also offers all contestants who complete their applications access to more than $25,000 in perks from partners such as Google Cloud, Hubspot, Stripe and more.
EWC accelerator sessions are run virtually by GEN Accelerates with training content provided by an array of knowledge partners as well as Misk Global Forum and the Global Entrepreneurship Network. For national winners, a second accelerator session introduces one-on-one mentorship sessions.
