Noutecompany, a Korean startup behind the digital stationery content platform ‘WeBudding,’ has secured a significant contract with HYBE, the company behind BTS, for licensing the digital stationery IP featuring BTS’ official logo and character ‘TinyTAN.’ This partnership entails the creation of digital stationery products combining TinyTAN and BTS’ official logos and graphics to be distributed through GoodNotes’ Android and iOS apps worldwide.
Partnership with HYBE Paves the Way for Innovative Products on GoodNotes
WeBudding is Asia’s largest provider of digital stationery content, offering items such as notes, planners, stickers, and brushes tailored for tablet PC users. Notably, it garnered a strategic investment of 2.5 billion won from GoodNotes last September.
TinyTAN, a charming character crafted by BTS, embodies the concept of the group’s second selves manifested as characters. Leveraging BTS’ global appeal and the burgeoning interest in TinyTAN, WeBudding is poised to introduce diverse products and content through collaborations with both domestic and international brands.
Beyond TinyTAN, WeBudding intends to utilize BTS’ official logo and graphic resources to develop highly sought-after planner and sticker sets in the digital stationery sector, available for purchase within the GoodNotes in-app market.
Shin Dong-hwan, CEO of Noutecompany, remarked, “With the rising number of tablet PC users, activities like note-taking and diary decoration on digital platforms are naturally gaining traction.” He emphasized, “Capitalizing on the growth of the digital stationery market, we aim to broaden its foundation while fostering collaborations with digital stationery content creators, thereby expanding our IP portfolio to offer diverse content to consumers.”
