Korean webtoon creator platform Toonsquare announced the global release of “Tooning Magic AI,” utilizing the “Stable Diffusion” technique. “Stable Diffusion” is a generative AI technology that can produce high-resolution images with text prompts.
“Tooning Magic AI” is powered by Toonsquare’s own models, trained extensively on their vast webtoon data. With its user-friendly interface and intuitive editing tools, the software enables anyone to easily produce high-quality webtoon images using AI.
The beta version of the web browser-based “Tooning Magic AI” (SaaS) has been released this month, not only in South Korea but also in the United States. Toonsquare’s unique UI design has received design patents in 29 countries worldwide.
Toonsquare also plans to release a digital art book titled “AI Greek Mythology Re-interpreted with TOONING MAGIC AI™” on Amazon, showcasing the potential of their AI technology.
Toonsquare’s CEO, Lee Ho-young, stated, “We hope Tooning Magic AI will be used as a complementary tool and can support efficient workflow in the labour-intensive creative market.” He further added, “Our goal is to create the market where anyone can make art from their own stories.”
