The 6th Pan-Pan Day, hosted by Gyeonggi Business and Science Accelerator (President Kang Seong-cheon) and Y&ARCHER, a startup accelerator company, was held on December 7 at the Startup Campus in Pangyo Techno Valley.
Pan-Pan Day is one of the major accelerator programs for startups with global competitiveness in Gyounggi-do Province. The Pan-Pan Day event, which brought together officials from startup companies, VC firms, and public institutions, consisted of a seminar session, an IR session, and a matching and networking session between investors and startups. In addition to Gyeonggi Business and Science Accelerator, VC firms such as WeVentures, Nautilus Investment, Reinvestment, and Blue Point also participated in the event. A total of 10 VCs participated in the online IR session, including Founder Institute from the US, TechShake from Japan, Quest Ventures and bniventures from Singapore, and MIXX&Company and Siliconallee from Europe.
At the seminar, Song Min-gyu, head of communications at Yanolja (CEO Lee Soo-jin), a travel and accommodation platform company, gave a keynote speech on digital transformation and digital innovation under the theme “A Strategy for an Innovative Mindset”. He shared the case of how Yanolja developed its strategy as a data company through its digital transformation to become a unicorn company, emphasizing the importance of responding to changes in digital mechanisms.
A total of 15 startup companies participated in the IR pitching session, including; Hancom Academy (CEO Lee Kwang-Heon), which operates a Korean language tutoring platform for foreigners, Fairy (CEO Jang In-sun), which operates a CRM marketing solution based on users’ online behavioral data, World Home Doctor (CEO Kim Ji-yeon), which develops a sleep care device, ÉKLEER (CEO Yoon-ji Jeong), a developer of portable IoT display devices, AI-NOMIS (CEO Kim Si-won), a developer of a no-code-based AI platform, Tag N Roll (CEO Kim Yu-sik), which operates Roll TV, an open multi-camera broadcasting platform, P. I. Extention (CEO Cho Man-soo), which operates a sports entertainment platform, One Cup (CEO Choi SoJung), which develops a real estate trading platform “OneCup PRO”, ANYWARE (CEO Choi Won-seok), which develops “ANYWARE VMS”, a logistics management solution, Cliquesoft (CEO Je Seong-ho), which develops a pet care platform linked to EMR data of veterinary hospitals, Skyron (CEO Jang Wook), which develops a thermal imaging solution for solar power plants, Geoventures (CEO Kang Min-jae), a daily necessities manufacturer and delivery platform operator; Hills Robotics (CEO Park Myung-gyu), an autonomous robot developer; Divine Technology (CEO Lee Yong-chae), a developer of simulation tool chain technology for autonomous vehicle performance verification; and last but not least, This is Engineering (TIE) (CEO Hong Yu-jung), a developer of urban autonomous mobility solutions for drones and unmanned aerial vehicles.
