Noxx Enables Secure Pseudonymous Hiring while Ensuring Legal Compliance and Privacy Protection

Noxx offers platform for pseudonymous hiring

Noxx, the groundbreaking US-based startup, is at the forefront for safe and secure hiring for pseudonymous jobs, where workers can use fake names to apply for jobs. Noxx  ensures both privacy and abiding by the law through its platform. With its creative payroll tool, Noxx enables companies to embrace pseudonymous hiring without compromising internal accountability or legal obligations.

By embracing the principles of the Pseudonymous Economy, Noxx creates a secure environment that benefits hiring companies and pseudonymous workers, ushering in a new era of inclusive and privacy-centric employment.

The concept of the Pseudonymous Economy, introduced by Balaji Srinivasan during the 2019 San Francisco Blockchain Week, has gained significant traction as the world rapidly transitions to digital work. Professionals now emphasize maintaining control over their online identities, considering pseudonymity as a crucial aspect of the modern work landscape. Pseudonymous jobs are increasingly sought, allowing individuals to work and be evaluated based on their skills and knowledge rather than personal identifiers.

However, the typical hiring process has many hurdles for hiring pseudonymous workers, and Noxx wants to overcome these. Businesses have to deal with security risks, make sure they follow the law, and prove the authenticity of pseudonymous workers. At the same time, pseudonymous workers worry about sharing personal data that might get out of their control.

Noxx solves these problems using advanced technology.  Noxx leverages the principles of Self-Sovereign Identity and Verifiable Credentials. By utilizing Zero-knowledge proofs and Verifiable Data Registries during the onboarding process, Noxx securely verifies the work eligibility of pseudonymous talent while safeguarding their privacy.

Noxx’s comprehensive verification process includes the following:

  1. Know Your Customer (KYC) Process: Pseudonymous workers undergo a KYC process using Stripe Identity, providing government documents and selfies to prove their existence. Noxx ensures data privacy by redacting any logs or personal information from Stripe Identity after verification, safeguarding the privacy of pseudonymous candidates.
  2. Encryption and Secure Storage of Taxation Information: Tax documents, which are crucial for companies’ tax returns, undergo advanced encryption using cryptographic technologies. These encrypted documents are securely stored in a private data repository, with only relevant information passed to the IRS when necessary. Noxx and the hiring company never view sensitive information, further enhancing privacy and compliance.
  3. Proving Work Eligibility: Pseudonymous workers generate Zero-knowledge proofs using their KYC data and locally generated tax documents. These proofs verify that the talent is over 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the US and that the identity used for KYC matches the information on the tax documents. Noxx verifies work eligibility through a smart contract tied to the talent’s proof, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  4. Persisting Verification with Soul Bound Tokens (SBTs): Once verified, pseudonymous workers are qualified to mint their unique Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) through Noxx’s Relayer smart contract. This process incurs no fees for the talent, as ZKVerification and NFT minting are executed using meta transactions, providing a seamless and cost-effective solution.

Noxx’s innovative payroll tool paves the way for pseudonymous hiring, empowering companies and individuals to embrace a future of work that values privacy, accountability, and equal opportunity. As Noxx opens its services to those on the waitlist and establishes collaborations with job boards and talent acquisition teams, the world of pseudonymous jobs becomes more accessible, fostering a truly inclusive work environment. With Noxx leading the way, pseudonymous hiring is no longer a concept but a tangible reality that promotes privacy, compliance, and fair employment practices.
