Korean startup LOKKS 307 is leading in the field of deep learning data platforms in the financial and medical field with its specialization in data security service development. The startup got selected for the TIPS Incubator Program by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of S. Korea in 2019 for the ‘Clinical Trial Data & Subject Compliance Management System.’ LOKKS 307 plans to accelerate the development of its medication management platform ‘DoseEase’ for clinical trials and expand its services.
A technological solution to human lapses in clinical trials data management
DoseEase is a cost-effective data solution that collects, manages, and monitors clinical trial data & subject compliance in real-time. Accumulated and verified data on DoseEase is stored on the blockchain to prevent any data loss, tampering, or corruption, thus providing highly credible data. Consequently, DoseEase is able to offer a comprehensive quantitative analysis of the effectiveness and toxicity of the clinical trial drug. In today’s time of health emergency like the COVID-19, when clinical trials are of utmost importance, DoseEase could prove to be a much-needed tool.
DoseEase is a technology-driven effective solution to clinical trial management problems like expensive patient compliance solutions, the potential of data-loss or tampering with hand-scribbled data, and the absence of real-time management. DoseEase helps managing subject compliance through its mobile app, and the admin web platform unburdens the researcher’s workload.
LOKKS307 has partnered with Clinical Research Centers in S. Korea for DoseEase, like the Yonsei Severance Hospital, Catholic University, St. Mary’s Hospital Seoul, Yang Ji Hospital, Guangdong KyungHee University Hospital. The company is in the process of securing additional clinical research centers through negotiations with various companies/institutions. LOKKS 307 plans to expand ‘DoseEase’ business to foreign shores and is in discussions with global pharma companies and government agencies.
Using technology to cater to various businesses
Being specialized in data security service LOKKS 307 also provides business platforms based on data and deep learning to various other fields. The startup has developed a tagging device PayDot, an accessible payment mode, and data collection for businesses. The platform helps in collecting and analyzing receipt through big data and provides marketing solutions for franchisees. LOKKS 307 has developed MediDot, a smart hospital medication prescription management platform. Patients can quickly receive prescriptions and insurance documents through a Bluetooth-based IoT tagging terminal, and dogs can map prescription drugs through MediDot. LOKKS 307 is also developing a novel consensus algorithm ‘Commitia’ to provide a technology used by the public by providing an easier smart contract.
LOKKS 307 is participating in the third edition of the “TIPS X beSUCCESS Korean startup showcase” to be held online on September 23-24,2020.
