Korean startup inDJ has developed a unique app for K-Pop music fans globally. The app inDJ provides a K-Pop music playlist to listeners based on their mood and situation. inDJ is the most innovative music streaming radio application that uses AI to recommend music based on the user’s emotions and situation. Also, inDJ’s AI can analyze the music by its instrument and lyric and understand the sentiment of music, then recommend the best music that fits.
The unique app uses AI analyses to recommend K-pop tunes that suit the listener’s mood and emotions. Its software platform analyzes music, user situational, and emotional data. The app has playlists based on more than 20,000 situations, diagnosed with users’ reactions to text messages.
inDj was founded in 2021, and 2022 it started its official service on app stores. The app is already at the top of the charts in Google Playstore and Apple’s app store. It has more than 200,000 downloads and annual average revenue of about $ 4 million. The company has received a $1.5 million investment from Korea Technology Finance Corporation Magna Rising Start 2 Fund.
Furthermore, using the user’s emotion and situation data, inDj can collaborate with other businesses such as AI vehicles and health care services. The startup has signed MoU with various companies for B2B marketing strategies and software development like ARIS, ME MOBILE, CBD ROBOT and YTEK in Vietnam, ASPEKTI in Indonesia and 7Key Music in China. The company is also in talks with US company Tesla. The startup aspires to make its unique identity in the music and entertainment platform world by competing with the likes of Spotify, YouTube, Amazon music, etc.
