Wipshot is operated as a SaaS-type cloud service, provides an environment where users can work with a large number of content files within one platform without worrying about storage space. Wipshot allows all video projects to be streamlined online for the team to collaborate and work. In the case of video content, the user can pause the section with edits in Wipshot and request directly on the screen without providing a separate opinion for correction to the editor. The media files on Wipshot can be organized automatically by projects and versions. Wipshot is available for use in a free version with limited storage and sharing. Its premium feature with reasonable fees allows unlimited sharing and more storage.
Global expansion plans
Wipshot is useful for people in the digital content industry like producers, editors, creators, etc. The platform is seeing a rise in subscriptions. More than 50,000 projects have been viewed on Wipshot from February 2021 to July 2021. Wipshot has got over 800 subscribers in the same period, of which more than 60% are international subscribers. Brightn, the company behind Wipshot, wants to expand the services globally and has also opened an office in the USA. The startup has attracted support from domestic institutional backers like KITA (Korea International Trade Association), Ministry of SMEs and Startups, SparksLab & D-Camp for its unique service.
