Korean software startup BluePrintLAB has been selected to participate in the startup scale-up program ‘Road to Barcelona.’ This opportunity will help BluePrintLAB penetrate the EU market with the support of Catalonia Trade & Investment, the main organizer of the program. It will also enable the 3D scanning specializing startup to look for potential partners and investors in the EU region.
Road to Barcelona program
Road to Barcelona is a 3-month program started by Catalonia Trade & Investment that provides startups from Korea, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile an opportunity to grow and expand their businesses throughout Europe. The program targets startups in the sectors of Industry 4.0, Life Sciences, and Mobile & Software. After an application process, nine companies from the various countries are selected to join the diverse community of the Catalonia & Barcelona Startup Hub.
The startup economy of the Catalonia region in northeastern Spain employs about 13,800 people. Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia and is the home to over 1,300 startups. It is one of Europe’s most dynamic startup ecosystems, ranking 3rd for 2019 in Startup Heatmap Europe.
