Korean petcare startup Sparkpet, a data-based pet platform, has officially launched ‘Knollo,’ an integrated companion animal app. Knollo is an integrated online and offline platform that provides customized services through data collected based on content, commerce, and space. Knollo operates three core services: Knollo Play, a content-oriented community service; Knollo Store, a commerce mall; and Knollo Square, a complex offline space.
The newly released Knollo app is an integrated service that combines content-based community service Knollo Play and companion animal commerce Knollo Store and was developed to provide everything necessary for companion life in daily life.
Knollo Play provides play content developed by Seol Chae-hyun, a behavioral veterinarian, for deep communication with companion animals and various quizzes and video content necessary for behavioral education. The community function app can be performed multiple missions using content and sharing it with other companions.
Seol Chae-hyun, a veterinarian who oversees Knollo’s customer experience, said, “Through lectures and broadcasts, I learned that guardians love their pets very much but find it difficult because they do not know how to play with them. Knollo Play will continue to provide specific and differentiated education and play methods for these pet parents.”
Doo-yeol Choi, CEO of Sparkpet, said, “Since the launch of Knollo Square, a complex companion culture space, in May of last year, we have been preparing to build an integrated online and offline platform that can communicate directly with numerous customers and expand the customer experience online. The goal is to grow into the largest integrated platform in Korea for companion households by upgrading services that do not exist.”
