Invest Seoul, in partnership with the Seoul Metropolitan Government, successfully concluded a roadshow in Hong Kong, titled “Seoul Forward-Your Next Business Destination,” aimed at attracting global companies to establish their presence in Seoul.
On July 19th, Invest Seoul, along with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), introduced the investment environment of Seoul to companies interested in expanding their business ventures. They highlighted various investment incentives and support programs offered by Invest Seoul for companies entering Seoul.
During the event, Invest Seoul signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with local Hong Kong companies, Finex HK Ltd. and Slowmist, to support their entry into Seoul through the ‘All-in-One Package’ program. This comprehensive program includes pre-market research, incorporation, business management, and legal advice to ensure the successful establishment of these companies in Seoul.
In addition to these agreements, Invest Seoul provided one-on-one consulting sessions with legal and accounting experts for other companies expressing interest in doing business in Seoul. This personalized support aimed to address specific needs and concerns of potential investors.
Following the success of the Hong Kong roadshow, Invest Seoul and the Seoul Metropolitan Government are committed to intensifying public relations efforts and implementing aggressive attraction activities to encourage more global companies based in Asian hub cities to venture into Seoul.
Invest Seoul extends its invitation to global enterprises and investors to join their upcoming 2023 Hong Kong Conference, scheduled for July 19th at St. Regis hotel. As a Foreign Investment Promotion Agency established by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Invest Seoul is dedicated to providing optimized services tailored to the needs of global companies and investors in Hong Kong interested in exploring business opportunities and partnerships in Seoul.
