Guro district to take forum of Korean startups to Indonesia

The Guro district office will be taking a forum of Korean startups to Jakarta, Indonesia in October 2019. This tour cum event has been organized for startups in the subcontinent to explore networking opportunities and find potential partners and investors. The main event in Jakarta is on October 16th and startups have been invited to pre-register. Startups in beauty, healthcare, EduTech, FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced technology, etc., have been encouraged to participate and check the possibilities of selling their product and services in Indonesia.

Guro District: An ideal space for startups in Korea

Guro or Guro-gu, a district in Seoul is known for its digital industrial complex and its role in nurturing startups in Korea. Historically, the Guro Digital Industrial Complex has played a leading role in the industrial revolution since the 1970s in the country. Today, the Guro District is an urban complex for high-tech industries focusing on venture, IT and knowledge industries. The industrial district supports many startups and organizes events for networking and investments. It is known as the Korean Silicon Valley with a well-organized startup incubation system. 

Indonesia: The emerging economy for entrepreneurs to explore

Indonesia is a fast-emerging diverse economy that has huge potential for entrepreneurs and startups. The country is home to Southeast Asia’s largest population of 269 million spread over 15,000 islands. Despite challenges, the country has been growing at average GDP growth of 5% per year.   • Design be Art., Co. Ltd.: It is a designing company that makes architectural scale models.
  • UBION CO.LTD.: The startup has a Moodle-based learning management system platform company in the EduTech field.
  • N-Finders Company Limited: The company is a medical device manufacturer having products marketed as regenerative medicine. Facial lifting thread is its main item, which induces collagen regeneration.
  • IT Innovolution: A FinTech startup that provides an unmanned automated solution for claims directly after hospital treatment.
  • GreenS Systems Co., Ltd: It has developed a next-generation smart packaging system and wearable harmful gas detect the card.
  • Dreamhue Co., Ltd.: It is a company that provides content planning and development using characters, exclusive domestic and overseas licensing business for internal and external IP, and OEM design development service.
  • C2Monster: A leader in the CG industry, the company has dived into the international digital content market and ICT convergence fields, ranging from technical support to contents development and production.
