Gadget Korea Co. Ltd , a third-generation data roaming service startup, has attracted 2 billion won ($1.5 million) in pre-A round investment. Gadget Korea’s flagship product, Usimsa, is a revolutionary eSIM-based data roaming service that enables seamless connectivity for travelers in approximately 200 countries worldwide.
The investment round was led by Murex Partners, a prominent venture capital firm, and saw participation from existing investors Blue Point Partners, Hite Jinro, Home & Shopping, Smilegate Investment, Awesome Tech Ventures, and individual angel investors.
Since its establishment in November 2020, Gadget Korea has achieved significant milestones n its journey. In March 2022, the company secured a seed round investment of 250 million won, followed by its selection for the TIPS program hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in April 2022. The company’s dedication and innovative approach were further recognized through its participation in various startup support programs, including the Tourism Accelerating selection and the Incheon International Airport Corporation ICN-LAB program selection.
Gadget Korea’s commitment to providing exceptional service to its customers has been instrumental in its success. The Bespoke plan, a specialized product tailored to meet travelers’ needs, witnessed an extraordinary ten-fold increase in sales compared to the previous year within just two quarters. Furthermore, the company’s annual sales soared by over three times during the same period, reflecting a remarkable growth trajectory.
In its continuous pursuit of excellence, Gadget Korea is currently focused on enhancing its services by launching local networks in high-travel destinations such as Japan and Taiwan. By establishing these networks, Gadget Korea aims to provide customers with even greater stability and faster data speeds than existing plans, ensuring an exceptional user experience.

The Bespoke plan, a specialized product of judges, showed a 10-fold increase in sales compared to the previous year in just two quarters. Annual sales also increased by more than three times in two quarters, showing a steady growth trend.
