FirmaChain, the Korean developer of blockchain-based electronic contract platform DONUE, announced the implication of a simple login option through the use of MYKEEPIN on April 20.
DONUE has previously implicated a Decentralized Identifier (DID) through MYKEEPIN during the soft launch. Users identified through MYKEEPIN can access DONUE through a simplified login procedure.
Through the implication of Google, Kakao, and MYKEEPIN’s blockchain login procedures, DONUE has taken a large leap forward to mass adoption.
A more accessible gateway to electronic contracts
MYKEEPIN is a simple login service that implicates blockchain-based DID and SSI (Self-sovereign identity) technology. It was co-developed by Coinplug and Metadium Technology, leading corporates in the blockchain industry.
Huh Yang Il, Director of MYKEEPIN Alliance, shared, “Users can easily login to DONUE through the use of MYKEEPIN and our alliance will work hand in hand to adapt DONUE to our network of companies.”
DONUE utilizes FirmaChain’s main-net Augustus to store original hash values, prevent forgery through identification procedures and manages this information through AWS.
Young Yoon, CEO of FirmaChain stated, “DONUE has enforced identity verification once through the use of DID, and now offers a simple login procedure for enhanced user experience.” “By the second quarter of this year, bulk transactions of contracts as well as advancements in contract templates and address book features will differentiate our service to other electronic contract services.”
A Blockchain-based global electronic contract platform
FirmaChain seeks to replace all written contracts governing social and legal issues by using an electronic contract platform based on FirmaChain’s data blockchain. Since traditional written and electronic documents are easy to forge, and the verification procedures are complicated, blockchain’s decentralization is used to solve the problem.
FirmaChain can check the contract’s validity through its hash function, which can be verified in an independent node. This verification process can be used as a means to resolve legal disputes. Blockchain is an effective technology that eliminates the risk of forgery of such documents, and it is applied to the first DApp (decentralized application) of FirmaChain — DONUE.
FirmaChain releases ‘Library and Wallet’ update
In May 2021, Firmachain updated its open source library and wallet. FirmaChain has updated the JavaScript based SDK on the open source sharing platform npm. Outside developers can now test FirmaChain’s blockchain network functions through the SDK (Software Development Kit) and can even apply them to other services. The updates can be checked at ‘@firmachain/firma-js’ within the npm platform. Currently the platform only provides the integration on its testnet although once the updates become stable it will be available on its mainnet as well.
With the addition of the NFT function the testnet the network updated wallet can be downloaded from the FirmaChain website. Also, the addition of the NFT function allows users and developers to experience blockchain technology that is one step closer to mass adoptions.
