CenacleSoft, a Korean digital healthcare company, has launched a Series C investment round after securing a follow-up investment from Naver Cloud.
Since 2021, CenacleSoft has been providing its cloud and SaaS-based electronic medical record (EMR) platform, “OrumChart,” as the first healthcare EMR provider to move away from on-premise servers. Additionally, the company plans to release a personal health record (PHR) service that will be integrated with its EMR platform.
Naver Cloud’s latest investment brings CenacleSoft’s total funding to 28.7 billion won (approximately $ 24.4 million). The company’s previous investors include Dunamu & Partners, Murex Partners, Kakao Ventures, Asan Social Welfare Foundation, and Hana Bank.
According to CenacleSoft co-CEO Seo Wi-seok said, “Naver Cloud’s investment is significant for us as they are a cloud service provider we trust and a partner who shares our vision. The 20 billion won (approximately $ 17 million) from the Series C round will be invested in the development of OrumChart and the patient-oriented
PHR service. The PHR service will manage personal healthcare records and provide various non-face-to-face hospital visits services, such as reservation, reception, payment, document issuance, and insurance claim.”
