Korean startup Facemotion3D makes it easier to create virtual avatars with its unique iOS app that can capture facial expressions and communicate in real-time with 3D CG software. This app can create facial animations by communicating in real-time with DAZ Studio, Maya, Unity and Blender. In addition, user can make recorded animations within the iOS app via streaming. It is effortless to use the app with download and to connect with the plug-in script add-on used for data examination on the PC side. This app is only available on iPhone / iPad with Face ID or iPhone / iPad with A12 Bonic or higher CPU.
The Korean startup behind Facemotion3D app wants to expand the service to Engish speaking countries, Spanish, and Chinese languages. The startup intends to target artists and students who wish to use the 3D technology to make virtual creations and participate in global contests. The company also has plans for YouTube Channel where 3D Parodies can be generated with Facemotion3D. The startup’s team comprises experienced programmers and engineers from the US, Japan, Europe, and Korea, led by Kenneth Choi. Choi has worked with Marvel Comics in Korea and China. The startup wants to become the leading solution provider for the virtual influencer world.
