Plant Hugs YouTube channel was launched in 2018 and now has grown to more than 162k subscribers. The channel shares knowledge about different plants, seeds, flowers, gardening tips, planting information, agriculture lessons, etc. The Plant Hugs YouTube channel has grown from a domestic to global agriculture content creation platform. The company also owns a 7000 m2 smart greenhouse farm in Gochang County, growing and selling the trendiest plants. The farm also boasts of the first LED growing bed for seeds in Korea.
Plant Hugs aims to help local farmers connect with plant sellers through its platform so that both parties can economically benefit and trade in plants/seeds that are in demand. Plant Hugs online store sells various agriculture, horticulture and gardening products. The startup wants to create more innovative content for its YouTube Channel, sell more agricultural products through open markets like Coupang and G Market, and direct Plant Hugs offline sales. It wants to grow as a global agricultural media content company.
